Sizmari

Privacy policy

Last updated 1 October 2026

Sizmari is a dream journal app for Android and iOS. Dreams are personal, and some of what you write may reveal things about your mental and emotional life, so this policy explains plainly what we collect, why, where it goes and how to get rid of it.

The short version

1. Who we are

Sizmari is developed by Nikolozi Chikhladze, 11 Mitrofone Laghidze St, Tbilisi, Georgia ("we", "us"). We are the controller of your personal data. Contact us about anything in this policy at support@sizmari.app.

2. What we collect

Account information

Everyone needs an account. We collect your email address and, if you sign in with Google or Apple, the identifier and email those services share with us. Passwords are stored only as secure hashes. During sign-up you confirm you are at least 16; we record that you confirmed it, not your birth date.

Dream entries

The dreams you write or dictate, the optional mood you pick before capturing, and the AI interpretations and patterns generated from them (recurring people, places, emotions and objects).

Preferences and consents

Your wake-time window, cultural interpretation lens, tarot/numerology setting, notification settings, streak progress, and the consents you have given or withdrawn, with their dates.

Subscription information

Whether you're on the free plan, a trial or a paid plan, and your subscription history. Payments are handled by Google Play or the App Store; we never see your card details.

Usage analytics

Which screens you visit and which buttons you tap (for example, where people drop out of sign-up), linked to a pseudonymous ID. Analytics never include dream content or interpretations, and IP addresses aren't stored.

Crash reports and technical data

When the app crashes or hits an error: device model, operating system version, app version and technical details of the error. Dream content is not included.

Push token

If you allow notifications, a device token so we can send your wake-time reminder and account notices.

AI usage records

For each AI request: your account ID, the time, the amount of processing used and the outcome of our automated checks. These records don't contain your dream text. We use them to enforce plan limits and prevent misuse.

3. Sensitive information and your consent

Dreams can reveal information about your health, including your mental health, which data-protection law treats as special-category data. We only process dream content for analysis with your explicit consent, asked for separately from our terms. There are two separate consents:

You can withdraw either consent at any time in Settings. Withdrawing stops future processing; it doesn't affect processing that already happened.

Sizmari is for self-reflection. It isn't a medical device and doesn't diagnose or treat any condition. Interpretations draw on psychological frameworks and published dream traditions and aren't statements of fact. If you're in crisis, contact local emergency services.

We don't use your data for advertising, don't sell or rent it, and don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Your entries aren't used to train AI models, ours or anyone else's. We make no decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you based solely on automated processing.

5. Who we share it with

Only with service providers that run parts of Sizmari for us, under data-processing agreements that limit them to acting on our instructions:

Our AI provider processes dream text only to return the interpretation or screening result and doesn't use it to train models. It may keep requests for a limited period to detect abuse, after which they're deleted.

We may also disclose data if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety, and to a successor if Sizmari is ever transferred, in which case this policy continues to apply to your data.

6. International transfers

Our main database is in the EU. Some providers above process data in the United States. Where data leaves the European Economic Area, UK or Switzerland, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, as applicable to each provider.

7. How long we keep it

8. Deleting your account

Deleting your account permanently erases your data; we don't keep a hidden copy. You can do it in the app under Settings → Account, or without the app by following these steps.

9. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

Email support@sizmari.app; we'll reply within one month. If you're in the EU, EEA or UK, you can also complain to your local data-protection authority. California residents have the rights to know, delete and correct personal information, and not to be discriminated against for using them; we don't sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.

10. Age requirement

Sizmari is only for people aged 16 and over. If we learn that someone under 16 has created an account, we delete it.

11. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest on our servers, each account can only access its own data, and AI provider keys never leave our servers. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach puts your data at risk, we'll notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.

12. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. The date at the top shows when this policy was last updated.
